Experience
Zolani’s area of practice is administrative law as well as regulatory and constitutional law. He advises clients on the effect of legislation and the powers afforded to administrators in their organisations. He also advises on legal remedies for clients pursuant to unlawful administrative action.
Zolani was admitted as an attorney in 2021 and has the right of appearance in the High Court. He specialises in all aspects of administrative and constitutional law. In particular, his areas of expertise incorporate:
- Administrative and Public Law –audit disputes, procurement, and reviews, as well as matters relating to the Public Finance Management Act and the Public Audit Act together with the applicable regulations and auditing instruments;
- Asset forfeiture applications in terms of the Prevention of Organised Crime Act;
- Insolvency enquiries and company liquidations;
- White collar crime and corporate investigations; and
- Criminal law.
He acts for the Auditor General of South Africa in audit disputes and several high-profile litigious matters relating to allegations of corruption and ‘State Capture’.
