Bernard was admitted as an attorney in South Africa in 1972 and in Lesotho in 1974 and specialises in most facets of corporate and commercial law with specific focus on:
• Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBB-EE);
• Company and Corporate restructuring;
• Mergers and Acquisitions both locally and offshore;
• Due Diligence Investigations;
• Share and Asset Sales and drafting of appropriate contracts;
• Advice on Company Law and related legislation;
• Competition Law;
• Preparation of unique MOI’s generally, as well as for strategic equity shareholders and investors;
• Drafting of manufacturing, License, and Distribution Agreements for both local and off-shore purposes;
• Drafting of Partnership, Management, and Joint Venture Agreements;
• Estates and Trusts.
He acts for inter alia a number of local and international entities in the engineering, construction, pharmaceutical health care, farming, telecommunications and property industries.
